Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Premsan Inc ("Premsan", "we") handles personal data in connection with PerSQL. It applies to persql.com, the console, the API, and the SDKs.

Premsan Inc's corporate Privacy Policy describes company-level data handling that applies across all services we operate. This page covers PerSQL-specific processing.

1. What we collect

Account data — name, email, OAuth identifier when you sign in with GitHub or Google.
Usage data — API requests, rows read/written, storage size, error events. Logged via Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine to operate and bill the service.
Billing data — handled by Stripe; we receive a customer ID and payment metadata, never your card number.
Database contents — the data you store in your PerSQL databases. We treat this as your confidential data and do not access it except as needed to provide the service or as required by law.

2. How we use it

We process personal data to operate the service, authenticate sessions, meter and bill usage, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

3. Sub-processors

PerSQL runs on Cloudflare (Workers, Durable Objects with embedded SQLite, D1, KV, R2, Pages, Access, Analytics Engine). Billing is processed by Stripe; transactional email by Resend. These providers process data only on our instructions.

4. Retention

Account and database content are retained for the life of the account. Telemetry events are retained for the period set by Cloudflare Analytics Engine. When you schedule deletion your data is frozen and kept for a 7-day recovery window, then permanently deleted unless we are required to retain it by law.

5. Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the console or the mobile app. Your databases are frozen immediately and then permanently removed — along with your account and their data — after a 7-day recovery window, during which you can cancel to restore everything. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email privacy@persql.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

6. Security

Connections are encrypted in transit. Per-tenant data lives in per-tenant Durable Objects, isolated at the storage layer. API tokens are stored as hashes; sessions live in short-TTL KV.

7. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the console or by email.
